Each 5 ml of SEKROL® syrup contains 30 mg of Ambroxol HCl. Liquid preparation for oral use.Symptomatic treatment of the acute and/or chronic respiratory tract disease where mucus viscosity is increased, secretion is decreased and mucociliary clearance is impaired.SEKROL® syrup is recommended for use in adults and adolescents. Recommended oral doses for patients older than 12 years: 5 or 10 mL three times daily for the first 2 – 3 days of therapy (equivalent with 90 mg to 180 mg Ambroxol HCl per day), followed by 5ml two or three times daily as maintenance therapy (equivalent with 60 mg to 90 mg Ambroxol HCl per day). There is no need to reduce or adjust the dosage for elderly patients. Oral administration by means of a measuring device.
