Loratadine 5mg/5ml oral suspension. Each ml LORATOL® contains 1 mg Loratadine and is expressed per dose-unit 5 mg/5ml. White coloured, cherry odour, homogeneous suspension. In adults: LORATOL® is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, nasal discharge, itching, ocular itching and burning. Nasal, ocular signs and symptoms are relieved rapidly after oral administration. It is also indicated for the relief of the symptoms associated with idiopathic chronic urticaria. In children (over 2 years): LORATOL® is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and allergic skin conditions such as idiopathic urticaria. Seek the advice of your doctor before using this product. LORATOL® suspension is administered orally. Adult and children (>12 years): 10mg (10ml) LORATOL® once daily. Children (2 – 12 years): Body weight >30Kg: 10mg (10ml) LORATOL® once daily. Children (2 – 12 years): Body weight <30Kg: 5mg (5ml) LORATOL® once daily. Safety and effectiveness in children below the age of 2 is not established. Oral use, the liquid is administered by means of a measuring device.
